Description of the flag
The flag of Lexington County, South Carolina, is white bordered in yellow with the county seal in the center, approximately .75 of the hoist in diameter. The field of the seal is light blue and depicts the goddess of Justice standing under an oak tree, with three haystacks and a plow on the hoist side, a watermill on the fly side, and the motto "In God we trust" and the date 1804 near the bottom. This is surrounded by a ring of darker blue on which the name of the jurisdiction is inscribed in white "Old English" script. The ratio is approximately 2:3.
