The Band
Keweenaw Bay Indian Community is federally recognized tribe in Michigan. It is successor of two historical bands - Otonagon Band and L'Anse Band of the Lake Superior Band of Chippewa Indians, and was created as one entity in 1934. It has about 3200 enrolled members.
