It doesn't explicitly mention the Java memory model but arguably
should. Considering that it is geared primarily towards small
embedded uniprocessors, maybe it need not. But it does not seem to
rule out implementation on multiprocessors. On a casual read-through,
I saw many potential interactions with memory model issues that would
arise.
