Alan Todd 27 Oct 2015 My Great Grandmother was Alice Maddison born 1850 in Welbury nr Northallerton. She married William Todd born 1845 in New (High) Pittington (later Blyth N'land). Wondered whether William met Alice in Pittington and James Maddison is Alice's father.
Alan Todd 09 Jan 2016 Amendment: Found Alice Maddison's father - NOT James Maddison
