The deceased was getting into the cage, when it suddenly moved away and he was crushed between the cage and guides. The onsetter denied touching the electric signal, but as he was engaged in conversation with the deceased and a distinct signal was heard by both banksman and engineman, it is probable that he had inadvertently touched the signal [Inquest attended]
