On March 7th and 19th 1923

1635. Hetton. John Brown, 46, hewer.

Died on 8th January, 1923, from strain which set up strangulated hernia the same day.

Deceased left a widow, aged 40, and two daughters, aged 15 and 11, and a son, aged 12, wholly dependent.

Full liability admitted for £300 0s. 0d.
