Notes: he died at home in Eldon Lane - cause of death was peritonitis as a direct result of an accident 15 years ago. Leng was employed as a set-rider. On the day of the accident he was crushed between the first and second tubs of a set and dragged some distance up the drift. His spine was crushed and fractured, he also had internal injuries.
