Official Notice

Amalgamated Anthracite Collieries Ltd.

In the Court of Railway and Canal Commission.

In the Matter of the Mining Industry Act, 1926 (Part 1), and in the Matter of the Application of AMALGAMATED ANTHRACITE COLLIERIES Limited, UNITED ANTHRACITE COLLIERIES Limited, CLEEVES WESTERN VALLEYS ANTHRACITE COLLIERIES Limited, GURNOS ANTHRACITE COLLIERIES COMPANY Limited, GELLYCEIDRIM COLLIERIES COMPANY Limited, CAERBRYN ANTHRACITE COLLIERY COMPANY Limited, CARWAY COLLIERIES Limited, GWENDRAETH VALLEY ANTHRACITE COLLIERIES Limited, NEW RHOS ANTHRACITE COLLIERIES Limited, and PENTREMAWR COLLIERY COMPANY Limited, Applicants.

Pursuant to an Order of the above named Court, dated the 30th day of June, 1927, notice is hereby given as follows :—

1. That upon the application of the above named Companies the said Court has confirmed the Scheme for the total amalgamation with Amalgamated Anthracite Collieries Limited of all other the above named Companies in accordance with the provisions of the Mining Industry Act, 1926, Part 1, and has ordered that the said Scheme so confirmed become binding upon all persons or companies affected thereby as on and from the 30th June, 1927.

2. That under and by virtue of the said Scheme each of the above named Companies other thanAmalgamated Anthracite Collieries is dissolved as from the 30th June, 1927 aforesaid.

3. That under and by virtue of the said Scheme the undertaking and all of the property rights powers duties and liabilities, whether statutory or otherwise of each of the above named Companies other than Amalgamated Anthracite Collieries Limited are transferred to and vested in Amalgamated Anthracite Collieries Limited as on and from the said date.
