In mathematics, an arc is a part of a circle between two points (also called a circle segment). A minute of arc is an angle measure, being 1/60 of a degree. A second of arc is 1/60 of a minute of arc.
In graph theory, an arc is a synonym for an edge.
Arc is also a name for a dialect of the Lisp programming language.
