Eurovision Song Contest 1971 (original) (raw)

The Eurovision Song Contest 1971 was the 16th Eurovision, it was held in Ireland on April 3rd and the presenter was Bernadette Ni Ghallchoir. Severine was the winner of this Eurovision with the song, "Un Banc Un Arbre, Une Rue".

The new voting system that was introduced in this Eurovision did have 1 big problem. Some juries gave less points out than others. If it was done to increase their chances of winning is unsure but the voting system was not the best.
