Flybe previously British European Airways, is a British Airline based at Southampton Airport. The airline was formed in 1979 when Jersey European was formed from the merger of Jersey-based Intra Airways and Bournemouth-based Express Air Services. Renaming to British European Airways was completed in the late 1990s, and flybe in 2002. Its airline code is BE
flybe de Havilland Dash 8.
