H�rn�sand is a municipality in northern Sweden, in the county of V�sternorrland. The municipality covers an area of 1064.7 km². Of the total population of 25493, 12411 are male, and 13082 are female. The population density of the community is 24 inhabitants per km².
The famous Swedish physicist Anders Jonas �ngstr�m grew up and went to school in H�rn�sand.
