You need to have at least an Associates degree to work in child care. You need two years of training in child care. You need to be an outgoing energetic person. Children rely on their care givers for advice, sympathy, entertainment, and safety. Most caregivers should have a big heart and be very loving. Most kids enjoy being around happy people.
