J�mtland County, or J�mtlands l�n, is a County or l�n in the north of Sweden. It borders to the counties of Dalarna, G�vleborg, V�sternorrland, and V�sterbotten. It also borders to the Norwegian county of Nord-Tr�ndelag.

The County of J�mtland is divided upon the provinces of Jemtia and Herdalia.

Administration

The main aim of the County Administrative Board is to fullfil the goals set in national politics by the Parliament and the Government, to coordinate the interests and promote the development of the county, to establish regional goals and safeguard the due process of law in the handling of each case.
