The Kitchener Rangers are a professional ice hockey team based in Kitchener, Ontario. They play in the Ontario Hockey League.
The Kitchener Rangers were founded as a farm team for the New York Rangers in the 1950s. They have a long history of success in the OHL and Canadian Hockey League junior leagues, including Memorial Cup (Canadian National junior) championships in 1982 and in 2002. Notable former players include Paul Coffey, Scott Stevens, Darryl Sittler, and Boyd Deveraux.
