The Omotic languages, along with the Cushitic languages, are Afro-Asiatic languages spoken in northeast Africa. Most Omotic speakers live in southwestern Ethiopia. The Omotic languages are highly agglutinative and appear to be related to the Afrasian languages.

The Geez alphabet is used to write all the Omotic languages.
