The Parti lib�ral du Qu�bec (Liberal Party of Quebec) is a Quebec political party. They traditionally support Canadian federalism, as opposed to Quebec sovereignty, and the role of government in the economy (as opposed to the conservative Action d�mocratique du Qu�bec). Notable Liberal premiers of Quebec include Jean Lesage and Robert Bourassa.
The current premier of Quebec, Jean Charest (elected April 14, 2003) is from the Parti lib�ral.
