SuperCollider programming language (original) (raw)
SuperCollider is a real time audio synthesis programming language, originally written by James McCartney. It used to be proprietary software running under MacOS. In 2002 it has been released under the GPL and as of 2003 it can also be used under GNU/Linux.
SuperCollider 3 is split in a server, scsynth, and a client, sclang, that communicate using OpenSound Control.
The language is a mix of Smalltalk and C++.
