At first he had routed out the Orcs that had aided in Nargothrond's capture, but later he summoned them back and ruled his new citadel as a Dragon-King. He began to send out his Orcs in forays against the surrounding lands, and through his attacks on Brethil he discovered that the Black Sword - his old enemy Túrin - was dwelling there. That revelation was ultimately to bring about Túrin's death, but also Glaurung's own. See also...
