This White Tree is best known by the name Telperion, but it had many other names besides, and among these was the Quenya title Ninquelótë. 'Ninquelótë' means 'White Flower' or (perhaps more likely in this context) 'White Blossom'. The Sindarin equivalent of this Quenya name was Nimloth, and indeed that name was inherited by the White Tree that grew in the King's Court of Númenor. Notes 1 The figure of 14,325 years is calculated from dating given in The Annals of Aman (in volume X of The History of Middle-earth). The dates given in that source are in 'Valian Years', which were considerably longer that solar years, making precise conversion difficult. Nonetheless, this value does give a reasonable estimate of the length of the Years of the Trees, during which Ninquelótë shone its silver light over Valinor.
