He was the youngest of Vardamir's four children, and so was not in direct line for the Sceptre of Númenor. He had three children, Yávien, Oromendil and Axantur. Axantur's great-grandson Hallacar became consort to Queen Tar-Ancalimë, and so Nolondil's descendants eventually reconnected with the royal line of Númenor. See also...
