I miss Art Bell. He was reasonably sane. He retired, and tonight we have a man who believes that the President is guilty of high treason, you can run your cars on hydrogen with a slight adjustment of the carburetor, and after all hydrogen is one of the most plentiful substances on Earth, and what is water? Why, it's two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen. But the big oil companies that run the country don't want you to know any of this. I don't know whether the show's science advisor, Richard C. Hoagland, agrees with all this. In any event we no longer need the second law of thermodynamics.

So 911 was a government conspiracy, and no airplane hit the Pentagon, and all those people who supposedly died in the crash of that airplane must have been spirited away by the FBI and one supposes they were murdered by their families.

What hit the pentagon is apparently a small remote controlled airplane.

I miss Art Bell.

There is an interesting article on how utter nonsense became the consensus view of intellectuals and remains so to this day.See mail.

Current Mail

This is a day book. It's not all that well edited. I try to keep this up daily, but sometimes I can't. I'll keep trying. See also the weeklyCOMPUTING AT CHAOS MANOR column, 8,000 - 12,000 words, depending. (Older columns here.) For more on what this page is about, please go to the VIEW PAGE. If you have never read the explanatory material on that page, please do so. If you got here through a link that didn't take you to the front page of this site, click here for a better explanation of what we're trying to do here. This site is run on the "public radio" model; see below.

If you have no idea what you are doing here, see the What is this place?, which tries to make order of chaos.

Boiler Plate:

If you want to PAY FOR THIS, the site is run like public radio: you don't have to pay, but if no one does, it will go away. On how to pay, I keep the latest HERE.
