1750: born in Ky�to.

1762: he started his career in a troupe of children-actors led by Onoe Montar�, performing under the stage name of Onoe T�z�. He spent the first years of his career performing as a wakaonnagata in the precincts of temples and shrines in Kamigata (miyaji shibai).

11th lunar month of 1771: he became tachiyaku and took the name of Onoe Monzabur� in Ky�to.

1772: he changed the first ideogram of his acting first name

3rd lunar month of 1809: premiere at the Moritaza of Fukumori Ky�suke I's drama "Sono Mukashi Koi no Edo-zome"; Izabur� played the role of Nitta Shir� Tadatsune [casting].

9th lunar month of 1812: Izabur� played at the Nakamuraza the role of Hayato in the drama "Hirakana Seisuiki".

3rd lunar month of 1817: premiere at the Kawarasakiza of Tsuruya Nanboku IV's masterpiece "Sakura Hime Azuma Bunsh�"; Izabur� played the roles of Yamada Gunjib� and Awazu Rokurosaemon Toshikane [casting].

Ogino Izabur� II was a talented tachiyaku actor, whose forte were wagotoshi, sabakiyaku and oyajigata roles. He played an important role in the transmission of art and techniques from Band� Mitsugor� I to his son Band� Mitsugor� III.
