June 1968: he makes his first appearance on stage at the Shinbashi Enbuj�, playing in "Sakanaya S�gor�".
December 1977: he takes the name of Arashi Ichitar� V at the Shinbashi Enbuj�, playing in the drama "Oroku to Gantestu".

May 2000: Kunitar� plays the role of Sakuraya Koman in Namiki Gohei I's drama "Godairiki Koi no F�jime", which is staged at the National Theatre to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the death of Kawarasaki Kunitar� V. His stage partners are Fujikawa Yanosuke (Sasano Sangob�) and Arashi Keishi (Satsuma Gengob�).
