The new year sogamono drama "Soga Biiki Nihon Zakura" was produced by Nakamura Kanzabur� VII and Nakamura Denkur� II and was staged in the 2nd lunar month of 1762 in Edo at the Nakamuraza with the following casting:

"Soga Biiki Nihon Zakura" mixed two sekai: it was a sogamono and a sumidagawamono.

The Tokiwazu-based dance "Shinobu-gusa Chidori no Monpi" was staged at the end of the performance with Ichikawa Raiz� I in the role of the shinobu-seller.

The actor Nakamura Nakaz� I (not illustrated) played the roles of Kaba no Kaja Noriyori and Danzabur� (Gor�'s retainer).

The actors Ichikawa Raiz� I, Nakajima Kanzaemon II, Matsumoto K�shir� III and Nakamura Shichisabur� II played the roles of Yukihira's sister Shiragiku, Nogamiya Kiheiji, Awazu no Shichir�, Matsukaze Sehei/Kume no Heinai and Kant� no Koroku.

The opening day was the 9th day of the 2nd lunar month of the 12th year of the H�reki era (1762), which was the 4th of March 1762 in the western calendar.
