Screenshots from Dillo 0.6.2 for Linux
These are half-scale JPEG screenshots of the <pngs-img.html>, <png-IceAlpha.html>,<png-MagnoliaAlpha.html>, and <png-textures.html> pages. They were taken by Greg using the 0.6.2 alpha version of Dillo on a Slackware (Linux) 7.1 system.
Click on the half-scale images to see the full-scale, 24-bit PNG images (414815, 105882, 282724 and 109723 bytes, respectively).

Dillo's rendering of PNG transparency is perfect, as far as it goes. But since version 0.6.2 of the browser does not yet support background images, it has not quite achieved the same level as Mozilla or Mac IE 5. It also lacks somewhat in various layout features (e.g., centering or right-margin alignment). It does do gamma correction, however (not shown here).
