Aliens kidnap a planeload of high school students, ranging from nerdy sf fan to airheaded prom queen type, to become exhibits/staff for a doomed space ark. Complex action and interesting situations get bogged down somewhat by a large cast of unlikeable characters, but this is a promising first novel. (CFC)
