Shadows of the Future: H G Wells, Science Fiction and Prophecy Patrick Parrinder (Liverpool University Press 0-85323-449-3, Jul ’95 [Aug ’95], £15.00, xii+170pp, tp) Non-fiction, criticism. This views Wells’ early and seminal SF works in the context of his whole career. Most of the book was previously published as essays, all being revised for this edition.
