1 αλληλουια αἰνεῖτε παῖδες κύριον αἰνεῖτε τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου 2 εἴη τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου εὐλογημένον ἀπὸ τοῦ νῦν καὶ ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος 3 ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν ἡλίου μέχρι δυσμῶν αἰνεῖτε τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου 4 ὑψηλὸς ἐπὶ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη ὁ κύριος ἐπὶ τοὺς οὐρανοὺς ἡ δόξα αὐτοῦ 5 τίς ὡς κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν ὁ ἐν ὑψηλοῖς κατοικῶν 6 καὶ τὰ ταπεινὰ ἐφορῶν ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐν τῇ γῇ 7 ὁ ἐγείρων ἀπὸ γῆς πτωχὸν καὶ ἀπὸ κοπρίας ἀνυψῶν πένητα 8 τοῦ καθίσαι αὐτὸν μετὰ ἀρχόντων μετὰ ἀρχόντων λαοῦ αὐτοῦ 9 ὁ κατοικίζων στεῖραν ἐν οἴκῳ μητέρα τέκνων εὐφραινομένην

1 Praise the Lord, you that are his servants, praise the name of the Lord together. 2 Blessed be the Lord’s name at all times, from this day to all eternity; 3 from the sun’s rise to the sun’s setting let the Lord’s name be praised continually. 4 The Lord is sovereign king of all the nations; his glory is high above the heavens. 5 Who is like the Lord our God, so high above us, 6 that stoops to regard both heaven and earth, 7 lifting up the poor from the dust he lay in, raising the beggar out of his dung-hill, 8 to find him a place among the princes, the princes that rule over his people? 9 He gives the barren woman a home to dwell in, a mother rejoicing in her children.

1 Laudate, pueri, Dominum;
laudate nomen Domini. 2
Sit nomen Domini benedictum
ex hoc nunc et usque in sæculum. 3
A solis ortu usque ad occasum
laudabile nomen Domini. 4
Excelsus super omnes gentes Dominus,
et super cælos gloria ejus. 5
Quis sicut Dominus Deus noster, qui in altis habitat, 6
et humilia respicit in cælo et in terra? 7
Suscitans a terra inopem,
et de stercore erigens pauperem: 8
ut collocet eum cum principibus,
cum principibus populi sui. 9
Qui habitare facit sterilem in domo,
matrem filiorum lætantem.
