13 κύριε τὸ ὄνομά σου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα κύριε τὸ μνημόσυνόν σου εἰς γενεὰν καὶ γενεάν 14 ὅτι κρινεῖ κύριος τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ τοῖς δούλοις αὐτοῦ παρακληθήσεται 15 τὰ εἴδωλα τῶν ἐθνῶν ἀργύριον καὶ χρυσίον ἔργα χειρῶν ἀνθρώπων 16 στόμα ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐ λαλήσουσιν ὀφθαλμοὺς ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐκ ὄψονται 17 ὦτα ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐκ ἐνωτισθήσονται ῥῖνας ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐκ ὀσφρανθήσονται χεῖρας ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐ ψηλαφήσουσιν πόδας ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐ περιπατήσουσιν οὐ φωνήσουσιν ἐν τῷ λάρυγγι αὐτῶν οὐδὲ γάρ ἐστιν πνεῦμα ἐν τῷ στόματι αὐτῶν 18 ὅμοιοι αὐτοῖς γένοιντο οἱ ποιοῦντες αὐτὰ καὶ πάντες οἱ πεποιθότες ἐ{P'} αὐτοῖς 19 οἶκος Ισραηλ εὐλογήσατε τὸν κύριον οἶκος Ααρων εὐλογήσατε τὸν κύριον 20 οἶκος Λευι εὐλογήσατε τὸν κύριον οἱ φοβούμενοι τὸν κύριον εὐλογήσατε τὸν κύριον 21 εὐλογητὸς κύριος ἐκ Σιων ὁ κατοικῶν Ιερουσαλημ

13 Lord, thy name abides for ever; age succeeds age, and thou art ever unforgotten. 14 The Lord defends his people, takes pity on his servants. 15 What are the idols of the heathen but silver and gold, gods which the hands of men have fashioned? 16 They have mouths, and yet are silent; eyes they have, and yet are sightless; 17 ears they have, and want all hearing, never a breath have they in their mouths. 18 Such the end of all who make them, such the reward of all who trust them. 19 Bless the Lord, sons of Israel, bless the Lord, sons of Aaron, 20 bless the Lord, sons of Levi, bless the Lord, all you that are the Lord’s worshippers. 21 Here, in Sion his dwelling-place, here, in Jerusalem, let the Lord’s name be blessed.

Simulacra gentium argentum et aurum,
opera manuum hominum. 16
Os habent, et non loquentur;
oculos habent, et non videbunt. 17
Aures habent, et non audient;
neque enim est spiritus in ore ipsorum. 18
Similes illis fiant qui faciunt ea,
et omnes qui confidunt in eis. 19
Domus Israël, benedicite Domino;
domus Aaron, benedicite Domino. 20
Domus Levi, benedicite Domino;
qui timetis Dominum, benedicite Domino. 21
Benedictus Dominus ex Sion,
qui habitat in Jerusalem.
