This style is also known as "Swimming Body" Ba Gua.

Basic stances (9) including some peculiar to the style like "Wai Ba Bu" (Outer 8 Stance) and She Xing Bu (Snake Shape Step). Also basic footwork is shown. Good basic examples of Palm arts such as Dragon, Cutting and Splitting Palms. Further, the Eight Single Palms are represented. A good introduction to the style and further VCDs.
DVD#11017 Bagua 8 Basic Palms
The basic Eight Changing Palms of Cheng style are shown, and very clearly. These are intricate yet fun, complex but lucid. These is a very notable consistency here of both quality and intent. Ma is a solid performer with long experience. Cheng style does not emphasize a specific order. Students may combine palms as they will. Actually this is true of all Ba Gua but the idea may be introduced at different stages of training. This is a Double DVD. Customer reaction.
DVD#11018 Bagua Interlinked Palms Swimming Body
**OUT OF STOCK! Please place me on your WANT LIST for this item.
A very nice tradtional series. Special Cheng style with very tight movments with much folding and turning in on oneself. Continuous and shophisticated from this traditional branch. Nice form overall with the accuracy and tone of a long time practitioner. Linked Palms such as this are even more fluid and spontaneous and encourage the player to link in any order he feels. A nice series.
DVD#11019 Bagua Interlinked Saber
Double DVD
A very respectable Ba Gua Saber with emphasis on walking in classical postures and holding them for strength. Also breakdowns are included for the specific forms of saber holding. The entire form is demonstrated and taught in sections. As usual the Saber is oversized in this version. This is a Double DVD.
DVD#11020 Bagua San Shou Fighting
There is a lot of talking on this disk in an effort to explain the nature of Ba Gua fighting. Then, lo and behold, the applications actually look like they came from this particular art and not, say, Xing Yi.
DVD#11023 Bagua Broad Axes
Double DVD
You may very well pull a muscle trying to learn this sophisticated and fascinating version of the Elk Horn Double Knives from this VCD. Nicely performed, definitely advanced. Good luck!
