112 (or Q, Slim, Mike and Daron) formed in Georgia while the group members were in high school together and eventually started singing together in churches and talent shows. When Puff Daddy created his own record company, Bad Boy Records, 112 were signed and became the company's 1st success. Their group name, 112, was named for the club in Atlanta where the boys met Puff Daddy.
