Kongsvinger - FK Haugesund 2-1 (1-0) Att: 2783 1-0 Trym Bergmann (6) 1-1 Vegard Berg Johansen (59) 2-1 Vidar Evensen (61) Yellow card: Marius Gullerud, Jon Inge Høiland, Kongsvinger. Thormod Ness, FK Haugesund. - A second win for KIL in a scrappy game. FKH were not any pushovers, although they didn't threaten a lot in attack. Brann - Bodø/Glimt 3-1 (1-1) Att: 13.600 0-1 Stig Johansen (7) 1-1 Mons Ivar Mjelde (27) 2-1 Mjelde (pen. 60) 3-1 Mjelde (pen. 85) Yellow card: Andreas Evjen, Tor Mikalsen, Bodø/Glimt. - Three more goals for Mjelde, who has now scored all of Brann's goals so far. He was helped by partner Flo, who was fouled in both of the penalty situations. B/G were not far behind Brann, and gave the home crowd a scare by taking the lead in the first half. They also hit the post late in the game. Sogndal - Lyn 2-1 (1-1) Att: 1930 0-1 Atle Maurud (37) 1-1 Eivind Karlsbakk (pen. 45) 2-1 Eirik Bakke (83) Yellow card: Morten Wivestad, Lyn, Jarle Flo, Sogndal. - Another narrow defeat for Lyn and another good result for Sogndal. The win was fully deserved although the visitors took the lead against the run of play. A few minutes earlier a SIL-player, whose name I'll leave out, had managed to miss a wide open goal from 5 metres under no pressure at all..The home side equalized just before the break and in the second half they created an lot of half-chances and corner kicks, before scoring the winner few minutes from time. Skeid - Viking 1-2 (1-1) Att: 2998 1-0 Ole Martin Johansen (7) 1-1 Martin Andresen (13) 1-2 Per Blohm (53) - Another lacklustre performance by Skeid at Ullevaal, and as Viking were not any better the result was a game full of missed passes and few goal attempts. The home side took the lead early on after a corner kick, but Viking equalized soon after after hesitating play by a couple of Skeid players. The winning goal was the best piece of individual skill in the whole game, as the Swedish captain Blohm lashed an excellent shot into the upper right corner from over 20 metres. Strømsgodset - Molde 2-0 (1-0) Att: 7286 1-0 Dmitrij Barannik (pen. 18) 2-0 Lasse Olsen (90) Yellow card: Jostein Flo, Rune Hagen, Strømsgodset, Petter Christian Singsaas, Thomas Mork, Molde. - Strømsgodset are the surprise early leaders after the second home win in a row. The match was switched to Drammen because the stadium in Molde was not ready becuse of bad weather conditions. Next Saturday a big crowd is expected for the early top of the table clash against Brann. With this kind of performance SIF could surprise the team of Bergen as well. Lillestrøm - Rosenborg 2-1 (2-1) Att: 7358 0-1 Harald Martin Brattbakk (20) 1-1 Tom Gulbrandsen (38) 2-1 Trond Egil Soltvedt (o.g. 43) Yellow card: Ole Einar Martinsen, Magnus Kihlstedt, Lillestrøm. - Like last year, LSK got the better off champions Rosenborg, but unlike last year, this win was undeserved and quite lucky. RBK missed plenty of chances and had a penalty appeal turned down at 0-1. The highlight of the game though, was the winning goal for LSK, which will surely go down as one of the most bizarre goals in the season and a strong contender for any top-5 collection of such goals. A long clearance by LSK was mishit by Soltvedt 35 metres from goal. The ball spunned towards the RBK goal and gained extra speed in the strong wind. Goalkeeper Jamtfall decided to let the ball bounce before controlling it, but insted he slipped and the ball rolled into the empty net. An incredible goal which turned the game around, because in the second half LSK defended in deep, with one exception never allowing Rosenborg any real good goal scoring opportunities.
