LSK took an early two-goal lead, but Skeid fought back to level the score, only for LSK to score from a penalty few minutes later. The home team never gave up, and Schei Lindbæk scored his third of the day, before Grina very surprisingly gave Skeid the lead in the last minute. However, on the last kick of the game LSK equalized, after the entire Skeid team went to sleep on a corner kick. The Icelandic striker punched the ball into the net from a cross, but the handball was not spotted by the referee or linesmen. Despite heavy protests the goal was alowed to stand. After the game even Dadason admitted his lack of fair play.
