Jan Wisniewskitook this image of double star M40 on May 9, 1999 from Sooke, BC, using a Cookbook 245 LDC CCD camera on Ultima 8 f/6.3 telescope. It is composed of unguided W (7 x 30 sec.) and CMY (4 x 30 sec. each) integrations processed with Multi245, AIP245 and QColor, as well as PhotoPaint 8.

M40 as photographed by Tim Hunter and James McGaha with their 12-inch Meade LX20 and Apogee KX260 CCD camera at3towers Observatory. This is a simple b/w CCD image.
