The Virgin Islands are divided between the Virgin Islands (U.S.) and the British Virgin Islands. The latter comprises islands north and east of The Narrows. The main islands are Anegada, Jost van Dyke, Tortola, and Virgin Gorda. Other islands in the British territory near the border with the U.S. territory are Little Tobago, Great and Little Thatch Island, Frenchman Cay, Pelican Island, and Norman Island.
