Style - Second Empire and Romanesque Revival
Material - Stone with granite pillars.
The current Denton County Courthouse is probably the most photographed courthouse in the state - after the Ellis County courthouse in Waxahachie.
The architect was the renowned courthouse architect W.C. Dodson. The courthouse was restored in 1987.
