History on a Pinhead

Settler and author William Allen is said to have named the town after a character in a book he had written in 1890. Other than the information provided in the postal cover (below) there�s very little history to report. The town melted away in the first few years of the 20th Century. It was left off maps and its population relocated to nearby towns.
