History on a Pinhead:

Centered around a school by the same name in the mid-1900s, there are no population figures available for Goodwill. Besides the school (which closed in the late 40s or early 50s) the community was also served by a Baptist church. By 2000, the church remains along with a few scattered residences.

The town has been omitted from the TxDoT Washington County map.
