History on a Pinhead
Declared a "dispersed rural community" by 1990, the community's proximity to Lufkin killed any chances of growth.
It was settled prior to 1900 and once had its own store as well as a sawmill. Early population figures are not available but after WWII, whatever the population was got smaller. It remains alive, but with no town center and it doesn't appear on most maps.
