Bio
Michael Barr earned a bachelor�s degree in history and government from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in history from Texas State University. He was a teacher and a principal at Johnson City, Fredericksburg, and Gatesville. He taught at Austin Community college, Temple College, and Baylor University. His stories have appeared in Texas Highways, True West, Old West, and Southwestern Historical Quarterly. He is the author of Rope Burns and Lead Poisoning � a collection of Old West stories. His latest book is Remembering Bulldog Turner (Texas Tech University Press), an INDIEFAB award winner in the sports category. His stories have been featured on �The Sound of Texas� radio program hosted by Tumbleweed Smith.
