Stars come out
on Christmas Eve
and light the night
as we receive
the spirit of Christmas
in our cribs
filled with great love
and fellowship

Joy surrounds
us in our mirth
enlightened by
one baby's birth
all see great hope
because of him
the Christchild born
in Bethlehem

Like wisemen guided
by starlight
we too must look
to reignite
the Christmas spirit
to give, receive
joy to the world
this christmas eve.
