Bleiblerville TX General Store

History in a Pecan Shell

Robert Bleibler, who opened a store here in the 1880s is the town's namesake. The post office was opened in 1891.

By 1904 there were 101 people in town unless some of them were visiting friends in Brenham. The population peaked in the 1960s with 225 people, however the 1990 census reported only 71 residents.
