The current Martin County Courthousewas built in1975 and exemplifies the easy-to-forget architecture of the period.
Architect - Riherd & Huckabee
Like many towns that have kept relics of former courthouses, twelve columns from the 1908 Courthouse form a gazebo on the square.

"The gazebo on the courthouse square was made from the entrance columns and one of the corner turrets from the 1908 courthouse."
