Paisano Sue

Toyahvale Hall of Roadrunner Fame

Submitted by Companion Neta Rhyne

"... Paisano Sue is still alive and well and continues nesting and raising her young under our pavilion. Early one summer morning Darrel's brother (from Austin) came to visit and Paisano Sue was on top of our roof with a baby rattlesnake in her mouth. This feat earned her a place in the Toyahvale Hall Of Roadrunner Fame.

(We think Paisano Sue might be a distant cousin of Fort Stockton's Paisano Pete, although she is much smaller in size and considerably more active.) "
