During the past four years, in an effort to beautify the city, the Bandera Economic Development Corporation commissioned artist Bill Stevens for three murals, namely "Kelly's Coffee", "Rangers on the Medina", and "Crossing the Medina" depicting some of Bandera County's history of cattle drives and Texas Rangers.

Here are photos of the murals submitted by the artist.

Artist's Note:
"The murals and tromp l'oiels I have painted in the past, were in residences. I did however, sculpt the bronze, "Drunken Dragon" atop the cupola of the Grand Opera House in Uvalde, TX. The dragon was originally sculpted by the architect back in 1891. It was made of white metal, and had been beaten-up pretty bad through the years due to hail. I was commissioned to replace the dragon with the bronze rendition." - Bill Stevens, August 31, 2018
