Rob Hafernik is a fifth generation Texan, born in San Marcos. He attended Texas A&M university and graduated with a degree in Aerospace Engineering in 1975. Since then, he has been a software engineer working on projects ranging from commercial aircraft and the Space Shuttle to internet startups and energy management systems for commercial buildings. His writing has appeared in a host of bizarre publications that you've never heard of. He now lives in Austin, Texas with his wife Patricia and their dog Ruby.
