DESCRIPTION
Upper register: Detail of two fleeing Nereids from a painting depicting Peleus' capture of the sea-goddess Thetis. The pair wear sakkos head-scarfs and one holds a small dolphin or fish.
Lower register: Boreas pursues Oreithyia (see other image).
