DESCRIPTION
Perseus chases the Gorgon Medusa. The hero wears the winged boots of Hermes and the cap of Hades, and wields a sickle-sword (harpe) in one hand. The winged Gorgon has round face, staring eyes, broad mouth, tusks, protruding tongue and hair wreathed in coiling serpents.
