DESCRIPTION
Zeus (Roman Jupiter) seduces the Theban princess Antiope in the guise of a Satyr. The rustic figure is depicted as a man with the ears of an ass, wearing an animal-skin cloak and skirt, and crowned with a wreath of reeds. The figures are both labelled in Greek.
